Sadly, this morning's lovely sunshine didn't last for all that long before it then clouded over with the rest of the day since then, descending into yet another spring borefest with yet more constant grey skies but with nothing which is even remotely interesting in terms of our weather actually happening.
A total of just 1.1 hours of sunshine has been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 12 noon, but even that is far more than what was recorded during the last three days put together.
With there being too much cloud around though, the temperatures are once again refusing to rise and have actually dropped a bit during the last hour.
Meanwhile, the temperature at 12 noon was around 7°C here in Edinburgh.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
