If anyone remembers the 4 hour sleigh ride on BBC4 this vid I took a few years ago in the US has the same relaxing effect on me (but only for 3 mins)

I do remember the sleigh ride Lanky- one of our TWO community put me onto the series again, called 'all aboard'. I watched it for literally an hour or more. Sent me into blissful nothingness, without the substances. I kept drifting in and out of sleep, and there was the same nodding profile of reindeer antlers and the soft trundle across snow, with the day drawing weak and distant firelight appearing every so oten.

Got to do that again this year.

Edit: tried your train and it didn't float my boat (or carry my container) somehow. Observer is not moving so there was never that feeling of going home. For me.

Bertie, Itchen Valley.

Retire while you can still press the 'retire now' button.

Yes I know what you mean about the nodding antlers and soft padding hooves for 4 hours Bertie

What I meant was the slow steady movement of the 100 or so containers is a bit like counting sheep jumping over a fence

In the early days of Ch4 (or 5?) rather than test card out of hours, they used to run a long program with picturesque scenes from the UK does anyone remember that better?

I think stuff like aerial views of Chatsworth and Maiden Castle.
