Thought I set up this thread, as we are currently having very unsettled conditions, and there has been some quite active thunder activity in parts of the country today.

Here in the north of Edinburgh, it has suddenly got very dark with medium sized hailstones falling very heavily and giving a bit of a temporary covering.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Yes, we've had numerous hail showers now since late morning and a few rainbows. Feels icy cold out there.....brrrr

I have received a comment about yesterday's timelapse, 18th March 2019, saying the cloud is spinning from 0.32 to 0.39

When I first saw the timelapse, it did catch my attention the development of the cloud but I'm not an expert on what was going on.
