It arrived here on the SE coast yesterday around 1pm. I recorded 26% with a DP of -5c

Its not as dry today but Air 17.5c / Dew 3c and RH of 37% is still noteworthy.

Humidity here in Watford is 22%

A number of road weather stations at more elevated locations in Wales, Cumbria and the north of England have been reporting humidity values in the low teens and high single digits since the early hours of this morning. The station near Bethesda reported 8% RH at 1300, with air temp at 18.7C and dewpoint at -16C.

You can sense the dryness in the air. Deepest blue sky of this spell too. Hence the big diurnal range.

I also feel a bit like I’m getting sunburned sitting out here in Canary Wharf.

An extra push of dry air at 3pm allowed the temperature to climb to 18.4c..it held steady for over 45 minutes at that value. 

A record low humidity of 24% was also recorded at this time.

Phenomenal stuff.

Today's diurnal range was a whopping 17.6c

(Min 0.8c Max 18.4c)
