Rain turned much heavier and looking like it's turning sleety again! Meanwhile it looks like the sleet has turned to wet snow over Dartmoor! and look at those sheep!
"But who wants to be foretold the weather? It is bad enough when it comes, without our having the misery of knowing about it beforehand." — Jerome K. Jerome
When I saw the Meto forecast for my locale yesterday afternoon, I groaned.
It was spot on though - mostly rain to be followed by some sleet.
So the wait continues for some lying white stuff this winter. Will any appear before January 2019 is finally nailed in its rotting coffin?
Not particularly cold here at 4.8C DP 3C. Max 5.8C.

Just m'eh with overcast skies & cold rain under a strengthening south wind (again). 4.4 c & 88% h with the fresh wind making it feel even more bleak than it needs to be. 0.8 mm so far.A real comedown on yesterday where the afternoon sun was beaming into my famed west facing hobby room and made it all warm and almost Summer-like . . . today, it's just . . . urgh.
SLEET and SNOW FALLING. 4.3c. Apparent 2.9c.
Some people walk in the rain.
Others just get wet.

Thanks, she timed it right ahead of the snow .. let's hope she times it right on Thursday for the journey back! She's travelling by train so we'll see how that pans out, lol! Moderate to heavy snow here atm - even getting a slushy covering on the road. -0.4 C and that is before the clearance gets here!
Edit: now suddenly stopped snowing, lol seconds after I posted!
