Fine and sunny. While the brisk north wind is making the current 5.7 c & 69% h feel cold, the mid-afternoon sunshine beaming into my room is doing an excellent job with providing free solar heating - especially as the net curtains are in the washing and my head feels toasty warm with the sun shining onto it.

This afternoon has been almost completely sunny and so a total of 6.6 hours of sunshine has been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 4pm this afternoon. This makes today, our sunniest day of this winter so far, but clouds have started to build up a bit more over the last wee while.
