I've been keeping an eye on water supplies for the last few months for my area. We're less dependent on groundwater since Bewl Bridge Reservoir was built, and although we don't seem to have had that much rain, the reservoir is now at 93% full, which would seem to be good for supplies even if we have a dry summer this year.

The local winterbournes I have passed recently are all flowing and it must have been the rain in December that did that.
I spent a day on the Frome last Sunday and it was good to see a vigorous clear flow for once. Do need more though but I suspect will be cold rain rather than snow melt that does that. Love to be wrong though.
