Well, I can report seeing snow falling in west Kent earlier this evening.  Imagine my surprise!  Drove over to Sevenoaks at about 7.45pm and as I was going up River Hill over the Sevenoaks Ridge (ca 200m asl) the snow was falling moderately.  Nothing was settling on the roads, but some of the grass verges had a bit of whiteness on them.  Came back around 10pm and it had stopped snowing and any on the ground had melted.

Thick snow up to about about 6 or 7 inches up at moel fammau summit. Drifts much deeper 1-2ft.

Loggerheads has a covering, and is a bit slippery.  The road from loggerheads to the carparks in the Moel fammau park are very tricky and should only be attempted on 4x4 or winter tyres.  I just managed to get in and get out.

Snow has returned with avengence here at sea level on the coast as the streamer moves onshore - moderate snow in a stiff northerly wind. +0.9/+0.4.  It will be a difficult drive to work up onto the Downs.

Just about โ€œlying snowโ€ this morning. Roads etc are clear but roofs and grass are white. Itโ€™s a thin and patchy covering though, that had frozen solid by the time I got home at midnight. And I missed seeing any of it fall.

Around 3cm of lying snow here, thatโ€™s the the second heaviest fall around these parts since Dec 2010. Not bad considering thereโ€™s no HLB in place.๐Ÿ˜Ž

May have been orographics but the snow fell hard and quick and caught everybody out!

A fantastic fall as so unexpected.

6cm level at home and reports of 8cm over at Winchmore Hill

I've just driven from home to Leicester. This was my car and driveway as I left at 6.30, it had snowed again overnight as I cleared my windscreen at about 10pm.

Here's a report of the snow en route.

Arborfield, Winnersh, Maidenhead, Marlow - a covering of up to 1cm

M40 - High Wycombe (Handy Cross), Stokenchurch, Thame, Oxford Services - winter wonderland. Up to 5cm, trees white, fields covered

M40 - Bicester up to Cherwell Valley Services - a thin covering

A43 - From Cherwell Valley, Brackley, Silverstone - Nothing

Towcester - a dusting from the village to about 2 miles north

M1 - Northampton Services to just south of Watford Gap - Nothing

M1 - Watford Gap to Lutterworth - a covering, at its maximum about 2cm near the M6 junction

M1 - North of Lutterworth to Leicester - Nothing

A dusting yesterday morning was the extent of the snow here. Disappointing considering this morning would be perfect for getting out and about in a frozen wonderland.

From my window I can see a few snow covered moors to the extreme W - possibly beyond Haworth and Keighley towards Colne , otherwise just frosty.

Pity you weren't heading back home this morning, the M40 is a winter wonderland (lanes are clear of snow though, importantly!)

No snow with us, just thick freezing fog in the Eden valley but when I came out of the fog on the way to drop the kids at school the Lake District fells looked absolutely stunning in white against the backdrop of the blue sky. But then back at work surrounded by the fog again. Gutted!

Had over an hour of moderate snow here at my coastal location but it was just simply too wet to settle and the sun is now coming back out again with very light snow still in the air. But there is some snow cover over them thar hills, though.

Had nothing here Ian, bit of sleet last night but that was it, quite unusual for us to miss out here, watching the radar yesterday and looking at observations it was like a snow shield was erected by Gravesend

The snow is actually pepping up here while the sun is still out, but I suspect it won't last for much longer.
