A good sprinkling of snow here just now. A thin covering on favoured surfaces and looks rather nice. Somewhat of a surprise as i expected sleat at best here this morning.
Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire (4 miles from Benson)

No snow here yet but extremely icy - quite dangerous on roads and pavements!

Snowed for a few hours overnight. Looked lovely. Didn't settle here, but cars coming into Durham from surrounding higher ground have a covering.

Sounds like the snow showers have been fairly widespread!

I wouldn’t have known it had snowed here if I hadn’t been up at 4am and seen it coming down because nothing settled.  But Daniel’s just called home from his girlfriend’s house, 4 miles away, and his car is covered with snow.

Sprinkling of snow this morning near Melton Mowbray which has melted and then froze - some back roads are like glass

Just 2cm and not much more to come by the looks of things. Not cold either at 1.1C.

The lamest of winters trundles on relentlessly.

Rain this morning turned to snow on the back edge, quite heavy for 10 mins or so giving a temporary dusting on grass and bare soil. Nice to see – as is the sun which is breaking through now!

I was awoken last night by graupel battering off the windows. A couple of centimetres and still a few flurries this morning.

A flurry of (presumably) back edge snow here as the rain and clouds cleared away. Different air is in situ now...

A very patchy dusting in Saddleworth this morning, seemed to be above ~ 250m but it might have been more to do with where the showers hit.

Showers are gradually getting heavier but only an inch or so lying. Still well below freezing.

I'm working at 300m asl near Bradford today and the light covering from last night has lasted all day in the shade. Whilst nothing remarkable, for this winter it is notable. Hopefully the start of better things.
