This morning is just yet another continuation of that same old borefest which we have had to endure for quite a long time now, with plenty of cloud around and nothing which is even remotely interesting in terms of our weather, actually happening.

It is still very windy with this morning's maximum wind gusts at Edinburgh Gogarbank getting up to 39.1mph as at 8am this morning.

The temperatures have also carried on rising as our frost-free hell goes on and now, we are back to that ultimate "winter" nightmare of double figures temperatures at Edinburgh Airport once again.

Here, the borefest goes on with a lot of cloud and nothing which is even remotely interesting as far as our weather is concerned, actually happening. This means that in the end, the rather pathetic total of just 6 minutes of sunshine was recorded for the whole of today at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

We are now halfway through this month but unless the amount of sunshine which are getting improves greatly from what we have been getting during this month so far, this month is looking on course to end up being substantially duller than average overall.
