Absolutely horrific yet again with dark depressingly dull skies and miserable damp but no rain.

Temp is 7.1C which is exactly the same as when I got home last night. No lower than 6.4C in between which is milder than the average max under the westerlies.

A few sunny spells coming through with a total of 18 minutes of sunshine being recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 12 noon.

The temperature is currently around 7°C.

A delightfully lovely "early winter"'s day with near unbroken sunshine for most of today. The 7 c & 60% h felt quite nippy in the brisk south east wind when I popped out to get the papers.

Very similar to idj's report at this end of the county - clear, sunny, dry with a SE breeze.

Now 6.5*C after a minimum of 6.7*C at 8.30am and a maximum of 7.8*C at 10.30am.

60%RH, 1019.5mb falling slowly.

Only small amounts of cloud here and in the end, a total of 54 minutes of sunshine was recorded for today in the end at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Temperature just now is at around 7°C which is still close to the maximum for today.
