After what has been a mostly cloudy day, it is now fine and sunny thus making the current 17.1 c & 80% h under light winds feel balmy for it.

It made for a comfortable gardening session where I gave the lawn and hedge the once over . . .

Occasional sunny spells have resulted in a total of 1.4 hours of sunshine being recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 4pm this afternoon. At the moment, it is mostly overcast with spots of drizzle in the air but even now, the Sun still keeps on finding a way through all of that cloud.

It is still very windy with maximum gusts at Edinburgh Gogarbank getting up to 34.2mph from the SW.

However, it is far too warm for my liking just now as the temperature at 4pm this afternoon was 15.6°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 17°C at Edinburgh Airport and 16.3°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

Yet another continuation of the same old borefest with lots of cloud, very little sunshine and nothing in the way of rainfall yet again..

In the end, a total of just 1.4 hours of sunshine was recorded for today at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Today's maximum temperature was 16.7°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 17°C at Edinburgh Airport and 16.7°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

Meanwhile, the temperature at 8pm this evening was 11.2°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 11°C at Edinburgh Airport and 11.7°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

Fine in the morning when the temperature reached 17.6C but turned into a horrible afternoon with more pointless nuisance value drizzly rain 

0.8mm fell making it the 11th day of this tedious drizzlefest autumn to record under a mm of rain
