Hi Artzeman.

A number of posters for several months have challenged your incorrect pressure reading. With no response or correction.

I have started this thread as a call for action to address this minor issue !

This morning you are reporting 1001 mb when typical pressure across the south the of the UK are in the range 1017-1020mb.

Please review and make adjustments accordingly.

Thanks

Remember you should only reset your barometer when pressure is high and stable!

I always assumed it was safe to add 5C to reported temperature readings from most posters in the winter months.

I have mentioned this pressure reading problem to him several times, with no result.

Without wishing to criticise ART in any way, I wonder if he reads other posters daily current conditions posts before posting his own?

Take today`s readings for example-

01:21 - -1016mb / 07:06 - -1019.2mb / 09:34 - - 1014mb / 09:41 - - 1016mb / 10:03 - - 1001.3mb (ART`S readings). Didn`t he notice that his readings were so much lower than the others, or didn`t he see any others?

Art, I think he means that the last sentence you wrote in post 6 on a his thread says ‘too low’ not ‘too high’.

Perhaps it would be better if people just stuck to suggesting where the fault may be, although there are a couple of suggestions on here that might be helpful.
