Dull and slightly damp with drizzle. There is also a moderate northerly breeze thus making the current 15.9 C & 93% H feel quite cold and clammy.

This looks like being set in for the rest of the day, so hopefully I'll have better luck with seeing the sun tomorrow.

Here in Edinburgh, normal service has been resumed once again, as it has now clouded over with the return to yet more constant grey skies and yet another boring and depressing grey nothingness. Having said that though, a total of 6.4 hours of sunshine has now been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 4pm this afternoon, although that might well end up being today's final total as a result of what has just happened.

It is still quite warm as well though, and the temperature at 4pm this afternoon was 18.0°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 18°C at Edinburgh Airport and 17.7°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
