On the official site now. Stepping aside as chairman at end of the season. Current CEO taking over. Lansdown to remain as owner and will continue to fund the club. Four new appointments to the board. Good news all round 👍

We were fined a third of that figure you quote, and it was 'similar' in the way that a football is similar to a basketball 😁 I would imagine QPR would get off with a fine if the Tevez saga is used as a rule of thumb, however, that was a Prem club and who could possibly attempt to call what the FA may do here given their historic inconsistency? They may decide to make an example of them. Personally I think not, but there will be a few QPR fans out there with twitchy backsides tonight.

The biggest irony of all here; Anyone know who was the biggest mouthpiece calling for WHU to be docked points for what happened with Tevez?... That's right, it was then Sheff Utd manager, now qpr manager Neil Warnock. You couldn't make it up lol. I wonder if he still thinks it's such a dreadful crime...

Reports now that the agent at the centre of this IS registered with the FIFA. More egg on the faces of the FA?

With 124 goals in our 35 games it's unlikely to be 0-0!

The last time that happened at Elland Road was 3rd October 2009 against Charlton!

Before that it was 29th March 2008!

For better or for worse I'd rather be a rugby union fan than support Ipswich Town. Death by apathy.

Good day for us regardless.

A welcome win for Barnet against Richard's boys, not that we were brilliant,  just Hereford went off the rails a bit after early promise......mind you Barnet did have a few shots on goal for a change

I still think the Bulls will be safe, while I remain deeply despondent about Barnet' chances in spite of another 3 points in the bank

Caulker and Fontaine out for us tonight. Our 4 match bludgeoning streak will come to a sticky end. To quote someone on our forum: "We'll need to score at least 3 goals tonight just to gain a point"

Pretty much what I said. Caulker did play in the end and had his worst game since joining us. A distinct air of couldn't care less about the whole game. We were awful tonight and didn't look that bothered. We're rooted in midtable with only 9 games left and I think Thomas Cook is on more minds than playing football. Shouldn't be, but there it is.

More FAW corruption, If they want to paly in an English league then submit to the rules of the country you're playing in. Or else, do the other thing.

The FAW are utterly corrupt. End of.

Yep. He is a vile thug. A disgusting human being. Somewhat apt he's on loan at Cardiff. For that reason I am loving the fact they aren't romping the league as they expected. Plenty more rumours the last week or so of financial meltdown when they fail to go up.

Just been having a browse through the divisions. I see Tricky's Hereford had their superb away run brought to an end this evening. I was very surprised to see they are still in trouble. Given how well they have been getting on the last couple of months I imagined they were up in midtable. I guess the contrasting home form is to blame?

Every game is now a big game for those down the bottom and those near the top. Bristol Rovers, who have now been overtaken by ten point deducted Plymuff, to sit on the bottom again have Notts County. A miracle is required to keep them up this season. Maybe that can be given wings with a win tomorrow and some favourable results elsewhere.

We have Burnley. Not overly bothered how we get on as we play out the rest of the season with no interest. Worth noting that the result can affect others though

Possibly our best performance of the season today. Totally dominant. As predicted by me, Crapdiff continue with their usual end of season form. Now no win in 4. Leeds lost to Blunts today, but will be pleased we beat Burnley. In League One a win for Bristol Rovers. Unfortunately for them all the 5 teams above them won too, so nothing has changed other than there is one game less to save their season

Another bad result for the Bees today losing at home against a Morecambe side that for the most part we were better than............we simply have to beat teams who are close to being in as much s$$t as we are, and we aren't doing it

The worst season for injuries in our history shows no sign of abating. Stephen Caulker now out for the remainder of the season requiring surgery. All these players below have suffered lengthy spells in the treatement room this season. A season completely ruined

Christian Ribeiro, Danny Haynes, Marvin Elliott,  Stephen Caulker, Danny Rose, Louise Carey, Liam Fontaine, Jamie McAllister, Kalifa Cisse, Cole Skuse, Jon Stead, Nicky Maynard, Nicky Hunt, James Wilson and Stephen Henderson

That's 15 first team players out of a squad of 26. Hopefully next season will see a return to fitness and a settled side and we'll show exactly why we were one of the favourites to go up this season.

Not unreasonable to suggest how we train and prepare the players should be looked at too

Can anybody tell me why the play off semi-finals - especially the championship ones - are always exciting matches with loads of goals

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_League_Championship_play-offs

The championship play-off can either be a tense cagey affair or one with loads of goals like last year

But the playoff semi-finals are always great viewing - unless you are fan of the clubs involved

Alan Brazil on TalkShite reportedly saying Spurs have 'signed' Connor Wickham. No other details yet, but if true that would be a major coup. The boy has bags of potential and potential that's likely to be realised IMO.

Congrats to Crawley, promoted to the Football League for the first time. Hopefully they'll replace Stockport. Hopefully, Burton Albion will screw up too.
