Remaining dry here....some thundery showers on the radar just to the East of here...quite warm in the sunshine...24.4c....so warmer than I expected...bonus!

We managed to avoid a direct hit from the storms that rumbled by this afternoon, mostly sunny with a max of 25c.

The stiff breeze has died down and we got no rain but there were plenty of black clouds to my East.  I just don’t know how we keep missing the rain this summer!

 Hi John! Just spotted your post. As you can see above, we're certainly making up for lost time with the rain now. Just hope the damage to my lawn isn't too far gone as the only green showing up at the moment are the weeds!

Ours lawns are recovering here - but we were 'fortunate' to get the occasional sprinkle of rain from time to time during the really dry spell which helped! A fine evening now with good sunny spells. 17.3 C @ 81% RH and pressure has risen to 1010mb.

Ended up with 20.2 mm today. Some green is coming back to my lawn, but unfortunately most of it in the form of weed. The grass part looks too far gone to revive but hope to be proved wrong.
