Heathrow has reached 29.7C at 12 noon. Northolt 29.9C. 

Skies still clear here with just literally three or four tiny cumulus clouds visible to the west and a few more to the east. 

Some clouds forming again and shouldn't happen as the skies is azure blue so that mean drier air otherwise would be dirty skies from the Atlantic when it moist.  Not humid here and temps now 32.3C so expecting around 34C if clouds melt away soon.  

Temperature now approaching 30C in Cambridge. Very warm and humid with only small clouds and light breeze. Will be interesting to see how high the temp will reach this afternoon.

Reading 30.4 C here at the bottom of the garden in full shade! Hardly a breeze and the 56% humidity making it feel quite humid. Plenty of fairly deep cu bubbling up now but can't see any signs of convergence winds on XC Weather - so can't see it kicking off. Pressure steady @ 1014mb

There's a trough over NW/N England that's the focus for clouds bubbling up, there's a slim chance of this triggering a storm or two later on. Here it's cloudy but still 28c.

I think what’s happened is a moist layer possibly from the Thames estuary has been triggered into cloud from surface heating, but will now clear away through mid afternoon as the atmosphere keeps overturning. The classic lunchtime infill and 4pm clearance.

Yes, definitely starting to look murky out to the west of here - fingers crossed!

32.8C IMBY. No reason to dispute it, as I'm very rarely the hottest in the region when the official figures come out on the met office site.

Cloudy and 28.9C

The temperature has dropped slightly, it was 29.5C about an hour ago.

32.0C imby on a north facing shed on the back wall. Certainly feels like it as well.

31.9c here with a fair amount of cloud that just isn’t covering the sun. 

27c - 28c. In the local stations on Wunderground.  Clouding up a bit so expecting a drop ... 

Satellite suggests the line is just to our South and has now leapfrogged the downs. Could mean a late run for the top max for Charlwood or Wisley.

Cu Congestus to the NE of here over the higher ground but no real development over the Cheshire plain - it needs an advancing surface front or convergence zone to kick things off here IMO. Stacks of surface heating and plenty of humidity along with slightly low pressure @ 1013mb might not be enough!

28.6 C @ 60% RH, sunny intervals and light westerly winds. 

Been overcast all day until the last hour, now it's clear blue for miles! High today of 33.5 under the cloud, now at 31.1c & still extremely dry 34%RH. 

There are cold fronts to my SE and NW!

Just home after work and it's perfect here on the North downs  29C, low humidity and a nice breeze and deep blue skies 

I am surprised how comfortable it's in the sun, no sweating at all.
