Hovering round 24C and humidity is OK at about 58%.

There's a good breeze from East too.

About 50% cloud cover at times.

There has been much more in the way of cloud around during most of this afternoon than what there was this morning and so, just 9.0 hours of sunshine have been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank which is a tad disappointing when you consider how sunny the first part of the day was.

Nevertheless, it is warm and the temperatures haven't even peaked for today just yet. The temperature at 5pm this afternoon was 22.9ºC at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 23ºC at Edinburgh Airport and 24.2ºC at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

That makes today the warmest day of this month so far at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh, and I think that this also makes today the third warmest day of the year there (although I would need to check that more thoroughly, and don't have time to do so just now).

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Very warm and sunny. Still 26C of homegrown heat. Madness given the NW breeze today.

25c currently, high of 28c this afternoon. We were in a "banana" of clear sky for some reason this afternoon between the Pennine cloud build and the eastern VoY build up. 14c dp, but feels much more oppressive than that.

Similar here. 25.3c still after a high of 27.6c. Probably similar tomorrow but depends on cloud amounts.

The earlier cloud cover has broken up a bit more and in the end, a total of 11.5 hours of sunshine was recorded for today at Edinburgh Gogarbank. That is still a fairly decent total but at one point in time, it did look as though we would beat yesterday's total after a completely sunny morning until those chances were scuppered by that cloud cover which built up later on.

Today's maximum temperatures were 23.1ºC at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 24ºC at Edinburgh Airport and 24.2ºC at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh. At Edinburgh Gogarbank, this makes today, the second warmest day of this month so far. It was the joint warmest day of this month so far at Edinburgh Airport and the warmest day of the month so far at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh where it was also the third warmest day of the year.

The temperatures haven't really dropped away by all that much during tonight so far either so at 10pm, the temperature was 18.7ºC at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 19ºC at Edinburgh Airport and 19.4ºC at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
