Stormy weather 13/11/2009 to 15/11/2009 A deep area of low pressure moving across Britain is expected to bring heavy rain and gale force winds to parts of the country during Friday and Saturday. At the moment the data is suggesting the strongest winds will be in southern and central areas during Saturday with the possibility of 75mph gusts, although there is still time for the forecast details to change significantly. There will be several areas of rain moving across the country, although it could be particularly wet in southern and central regions during Friday night. . Stormy weather during autumn isn't unusual, although until recently this autumn has been mostly quiet and often dry."The first half of the Autumn brought a good deal of fine and settled weather with many parts of Britain seeing below average rainfall. In the last couple of weeks it has become increasingly unsettled with most places seeing wet and at times windy conditions.
