Today will be the day that Bristol Rovers somehow haul themselves within touching distance of safety.

A great result for them last night (one of many that have gone their way lately) When Tranmere failed to beat Plymuff.

Today Rovers have Charlton. Charlton are what is technically known as crap. 1 win in their last 15 games and no goals scored in the last 3 games. A nailed on Rovers win and it'll be enough with one other win to keep them in league one IMO

must win game which I feel confident about with a nagging bad feeling if you know what I mean.I reckon 2-0 or 3-1 to Rovers.

My tempting fate nearly worked  Rovers gifted a point against 9 man Charlton, but they may well end up rueing not taking all three. a point against 9 men for almost an entire half isn't good enough at this stage

We were gash against relegated Sheff Utd today. No interest at all from overpaid numpties more interested in their holidays now.

Great to see Preston North End on their way down too

Sheffield Utd gave themselves a slim chance of avoiding the drop today after coming back from 2 down to beat Reading.

It would take 2 wins by Sheffield Utd combined with a couple of heavy defeats by Doncaster, but it's not impossible.

I'll get it off my chest now eh?...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Right, now that's done, I don't feel much elation really. Yes I am taking the p*** like a dog with a bone on Facebook, but that's because I have mates that support The Sags. As I've said before, we have been distant rivals for so long now it's not the same anymore. It's not unfeasible that we'll never play each other in a competitive match again during my lifetime, especially if you go bust next year as half decent rumours suggest. I know how horrible relegation is, so I'll leave it at that. Goodnight Irene

Yes, you are sure, you checked google before you wrote this. It's 20k, and it's a far more asthetically pleasing stadium than that disgusting, no character Tescos Metro that Crapdiff play in. Not that that will bother you because you're not a Crapdiff fan right? You 'support' (via ceefax) England's little market town of Hereford. For a pretend Welshman, of 100% English blood, who claims to support an English side, you seem to take an awful lot of notice of Crapdiff. Is it the ritual epic fail that interests you so much from Merthyr (Britain's fail barometer) because I'm confused? Wind up? Moi? 😂 😂 😂 😍 😝

http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/NewsAndFeatures/2011/queens-park-rangers-may-decision

It was originally indicated that the decision of the Independent Regulatory Commission hearing on the charges against QPR and Mr Gianni Paladini concerning Alejandro Faurlin and on any sanction, if appropriate, would be announced by 4pm on Friday 6 May if possible. This will not now happen. A decision will be made and announced as soon as possible thereafter

That is verging on the corrupt. Rangers and Leeds have to play in a crucial match on Saturday with neither knowing what the implications of the game are. The permutations are numerous.

One reason and one reason only for it IMO. IF there is a points deduction there will be a riot on live TV as the BBC are covering the game.

And while we're at it...thanks Football League.

FA Charge for Leeds it says on their front page and at the head of this article. Delve a little deeper and it's Leeds AND Burnley. No agenda there then you idiots?

I think they are going to wait until after the final games are played and then se how many points they need to deduct to QPR second.

QPR still go up

FA are seen to be punishing

AND

none of the other clubs have the balls to make complaint

How is that punishment though? What would they have lost? Nothing apart from a trophy that no one gives a toss about. Going up is all that counts, and they still would. That would equate to no punishment whatsoever. Notic QPR are on tv tomorrow. That could be why the result has been delayed. The FA will bottle it though.

I said that above. Pay attention Matty.

That's exactly why I think the decision has been delayed. QPR v Leeds live on BBC.

1,800 of us plus whatever other tickets we've managed to blag there to watch a promising season fizzle out with a comprehensive defeat, so basically there for the piss up and to extract whatever reaction they can get from the QPR fans and Warnock (who is on record as saying he wants revenge for unspecified things that were said at Elland Road where we destroyed hi team mercilessly).

The rest of the ground celebrating the title.

That's explosive enough. If there were points deductions in the air..BANG!

Whatever the ultimate outcome is the motivation for it will be clear afterwards.

Last chance hotel for the Bees tomorrow (BIG GULP) at home to Port Vale, while Lincoln are at home to Aldershot.

Whatever, Barnet MUST win the game and hope that Lincoln either draw or lose...............not even "squeaky bum" time, just "finger nails chewed down to the bone" time. In fairness Barnet have been a poor outfit for quite a few years, albeit they've flattered to deceive a couple of times, and if they get relegated it won't be a great surprise. Major ground improvements are required, but ideally moving ground and increasing the stadium size would have made a huge difference: of course the local Council knows so much about football that it never happened! It'll be a difficult path back if they get relegated tomorrow, so here's wishing them a bit of good fortune at Lincoln's expense
