Cloudy so far this morning 13 C after a minimum of 12 C
Yesterday's strong wind has gone thankfully

As for this morning, we’ve had some overnight rain but I don’t think it’s raining here just now and although the radar maps show some rain around just now, that is all looking very light and patchy.
The fact that there is some rain around is different from what we’ve been used to but apart from that, not much else has changed with the forecast suggesting that we might even see a few hints of brightness during the course of the day.
Today is forecast to be cooler than of late but whether or not it actually is remains to be seen as days have a habit these days of being warmer than they are forecast to be, especially when it’s forecast to be cooler.
Currently around 15°C here in Hawick which is already in line with other recent days at this same time.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
