In many ways yes.

Still I wasn't exactly misbehaved on Netweather was I? I just had a visceral dislike of snow.

Hello All,

Having watched the last cold spell with great interest, I've decided to come back and may make the occasional post.

I was an original member back on the old forum with the likes of Gary Sarre, Dotty, Brian, Paddy Addy etc, and was pretty active, but busy work and a move to Hong Kong have meant I have't posted for ages.

If it's OK I might post occasionally if people are interested, particularly in typhoon season, where it can get a bit fruity from time to time!

Cheers

Hello folks. Sorry for the 4-week silence. I have been unwell - 4 weeks in 2 Hospitals, 2 coronary by-passes, ICU etc - but am happy to tell you that I am now home [08/02] and recovering. Long story - won't bore you but by all means PM me. I must say I have been bowled over by seeing 4 weeks of NHS work zoom by me - what an organisation! Respect!

Also very good to have been out of media contact!!!!

Newbie here! Just wanted to introduce myself with a polite ‘hello’.

i’ve been a long time lurker (3-4 years) and learned lots from others by keeping tabs on the model output discussions over this time.  😁

I live in North Hampshire and therefore suffer from snow withdrawal symptoms most years!

Returning to the forum with the threat of legal action against me thankfully over.

From December 27th 2020, zonality will be banned from mixing with the UK. We appreciate that this may come as a shock to younger people and old Uncle Barty. This ban will last for a minimum of ten days.

Nice to meet you Phil; I'm in the S of your county and it's even worse here- I sometimes take a drive your way when there's sleety rain here!

Good evening. I've just signed up having read many many posts over the years.

Thanks Brian. This is an important resource and conducted in the right way.

I'm doing some postgraduate Planetary Science study - so I am interested to learn any useful  science, the modelling and of course the lore.

I'm also a pensions professional in my real lie  but please don't talk to me about that!

Which is, in and of itself, a cardinal sin!🤣
I'm autistic, so please bear with me: sometimes rules don't make much sense to me -- but I promise to do my very best!
