Please prove me wrong but Rooney is living on his Premier League Form as he once again fails to live up to expectations for the National side!!  I can't think of another England player that has retained his place in the England line up with such consistently poor performances.  

Sounds like what I suggested before we started, that Rooney shouldn't get a shoe-in after his suspension.

This England team is dire, as many of us knew. Playing for pens gets you what you deserve - nothing.

Although I think it was more a case of just being completely outclassed again.

Sat back way too much in that Game, gave them far too much time on the ball, First 30mins it was there for us to get at them.

Why we have Gerrard playing so deep god only knows, if you want Rooney dropping off you might aswell play him behind a front 2 as I've said time and time again. Not them players fault it's the mentality that we set up with.
