See you managed a 3 in Reading on 15th. Tomorrow through to Saturday could be interesting.

It was raining 4s yesterday, even as far north as Leeds, South Wales with the highest values. A day on the river tomorrow so will need some sunscreen possibly.

4.1 today and 4 yesterday. Slight increase in humidity expected over next two days might have an impact but tomorrow could still potentially pip the 4.3 year best so far.

No hirondelles here yet- love a swallow or martin at this time of year.

Plenty of 4+s in Reading since last post. 4.7 or 4.8 (see what you think) on 16th the highest so far. Surely a 5 somewhere from Wednesday to Saturday is on the cards- the MetO seems to think so.

Since last post there have been 12 5+ readings but no 6s yet- highest at Reading being 5.8 on 3rd. Impressively, all but 1 day from 30/4 to 8/5 inclusive (a 9 day run) reached or exceeded 5.

Didn't materialise in Reading. Loads of 6s but the BH didn't pull a 7.

A proper 7 in Reading today finally, been a while since the May one that was on the line.

I seem to predict when it's going to be high UV by booking a day on the river again.

The Aussie SWMBO is running the half at the Hampshire Hoppit tomorrow at Watership Down and it should be another strong sun day. Thankfully she was brought up wearing 50+ every day in Oz given even Melbourne hits an 11, I remember being in Cairns in a 15... brutal!
