Baldock, Herts
My PWS over reads the temperature by a degree or a little more because of its sheltered position and proximity to buildings.

30c here according to my phone.

A couple of local stations on Wunderground showed 31c and 32c but not sure how accurate they are.

At least it will be mild!

Same at the site in Pett Bottom. It's plateaued around 31.5C. Drawing breath for a later surge hopefully.

Wind direction has been SW so far.

What a shock that the predictions of 40 degrees turns out to be wrong. Who could have foreseen that? 😆

Very warm around Baldock. Local stations reading between 32 and 35C so I guess the reality is about 33.5.

Lagging a few degrees behind some as expected, we look to have just pushed over the 30C mark which is a little bit ahead of what is forecast for this time

Stuck at 32c, yet Granville 20 miles to our East on the French mainland is 37 (100f). That sea always seems to get in our way of the extremes.
