Victor Gao - Vice President , centre of China and Globalisation denies his country tried to cover up the virus

Claims ever since the discovery of this " strange pneumonia " December 27th 2019  China moved into action and on December 31st China contacted WHO - from then on China worked tirelessly ( first week in January ) to find out what happened

No cover up he says

" USA , wasted February and March doing nothing and need to be investigated " …………..he goes on to rant

BBC Local info: Coronavirus deaths: Lincolnshire below national average

The rate of coronavirus-related deaths in Lincolnshire is three times lower than the England and Wales average, according to new research.

Figures released today show that the county has recorded 11 coronavirus-related deaths per 100,000 people in the population.

Nationally, that number stands at 36.

It's also been revealed Boston recorded the highest number with 22 deaths per 100,000. But West Lindsey had the lowest at just four.

I feel the same way about obese people as I do smokers and druggies. It's self inflected and they are a drain on the NHS

It's sort of like an ulcer, yes. In my case I'd actually damaged a saliva gland, so none of the stuff like mouthwash or creams etc would work. I had to have it removed (I did wait 2 months before seeing the doctor too!)

Dentists on the other hand? I go to mine regularly - it's a far cry from when I was a child, as the dentist then gave me a filling every visit whether I needed it or not.

We've had figures from Gavin D for both Wales and England, but not Scotland or NI.

Look forward to getting that from the guy that provides us with this every day

Johnson and his partner have named their son after their two grandfathers and "Nicholas" after the two doctors that "saved his life" both called "Nick".

I wonder how keen he would have been to name him "Adebola" and "Sanjay" if he'd been in an ICU in our local hospital in Essex?

No, I'm a healthy weight and that's because I eat a balanced diet but I exercise to maintain that weight. I drink alcohol but not to excess, I used to smoke occasionally when I was a lot younger but I realised how bad it was so gave it up.

Its interesting to look at how COVID is affecting this forum.

My posting output is fairly constant, fluctuates a bit (with the seasons especially) but not a huge amount. For the last few years I've been pretty much always in the 3-6th position for monthly posting total and quite rarely outside of that (in either direction). During COVID however I've struggled to make the top 10 (my posting output hasn't changed). One small positive to take from this is that TWO is alot more active than it usually is at one of the less active parts of the year.

The graph itself though I would question up against reality, roughly 38% at the beginning of April now roughly 41% doesn't seem to relate to how much busier the roads seem to be?

I'm assuming this chart is measured by miles travelled, and journeys on average must be considerably shorter.
