Not ordering events/theatres/etc to shut is a way of avoiding insurance payouts. They've been hung out to dry.

I actually think what they have done is very good . Most people will obey this and for now thats probably all they need. In 3 weeks or so when the s##t is really hitting the fan they will probably make it law.

The point is we just don't know but you'd be amazed how many people don't watch the news or even visit a forum like this , they wont have a clue 

Many companies won’t be able to claim insurance without government enforcement.

There will also be theatres etc that will not refund either.

It was still a risk reduction, if I contined completely as normal the probability would still be higher. And she did take precautions just not quite to the same degree that I did.

Part of it is leading by example though and encouraging social responsibility. I cannot be expected to implore people to take personal precautions if I don't also sacrifice some elements of my own personal freedom.

I think the economic fallout will be so massive even a laissez faire Tory government would have no choice but to step in and help. Genuinely I believe that. We will soon see helicopter money IMO, as I said in the other thread.

Yes, I have found working from home has actually caused issues with my normal routine. 

This morning I got up at normal times and then took a walk to get my coffee.

Which just leaves me - and as the school's still open, that's going to be a load of "no, we don't have the manpower to do that right now". The rest of this week's going to be pretty hellish!
