It's just been the same story as it's been all year here. Frequent rain - almost daily with no settled spells but never in large amounts so total only slightly above average at 62mm. 8mm or more on four of the past five days but a max total of only 13.2mm

Doesn't appear to be any rain gauges in the area. Nearest one I can find near Memsie, south of Fraserburgh recorded 51.2mm in the 36 hours up to 3pm today
After this vile month and the awful May and Summer that preceeded it a settled spell of crisp autumnal weather is most definitely needed and what do we look like getting? More of the same horrific, nasty wet rubbish
