Not mad on model A "verifies" better than model "B" when used to justify a poster's particular weather preference, especially when you look and the difference is statistically insignificant.

I hate the phrase "rain, sleet and snow" because it usually means lots from column A, a little from column B, and bugger all from column C.

Over use of acronyms that only an elite few understand 

bit harsh regarding Uncle Barty - and blow torch, as these are just funny - used sparingly - of course.  

Any Winter-is-over comment is annoying because snow stopped play at Colchester Cricket ground on June 6th 1975. 

Of course not sure this is still possible in the modern winter - LOL SORRY!! Just my black sense of humour

It was Buxton that snow stopped play not Colchester and it was June 2nd not the 6th. By the 6th it had turned hot and sunny. Quite a remarkable week weather wise. And we even had a referendum on EU membership that week too!
