Nice drying day until 10 minutes ago, but hammering down now, and we've had about 4mm in a short period - but can't complain since we largely missed the downpours over the last 2 or 3 days.
Trouble is the wind has fallen light so what looked like a brief shower is currently stuck overhead.

Still a cracking day in Edinburgh, almost constant sunshine since sunrise with the odd fair weather Cu, distant CuNimbs on the horizon to the north but great for the tourists at the Festival after the recent downpours, the city is packed as you would imagine,  a max of 19 c so feeling great in the sunshine in light winds
