Morning,

Overcast but dry and calm. Temps are pretty average. Like yesterday, cloud cover is 100%, visibility is good, cloud base is low, around 100m.

Finally got the roof completed yesterday morning. Now we need some rain to test it. Who'd have though there would be a lack of rain on Skye in August

Recent t/storm, 8.4mm to add to a lunchtime shower, now 12.6mm today to add to the 18.4mm in yesterday's storm. Monthly total now 46mm.

Edit: Meto had Kenley as the wettest in the SE at 12.4mm.  Kenley airfield is approx. 1 1/2 miles nne of my location.  Shows how these cloudbursts are localised.  I think they have been on the fringe of today's showers too, so far.
