I would have thought that surely it would be a bonus for the town's take away restaurants.

After all there will be less money about, so people will be downgrading their eating habits, no fancy meals, just getting takeaways, so the chicken shops will be doing a roaring trade.

Liverpool dominating Chelsea and 3-0 up inside half an hour. John Terry apparently made to look like Bambi on ice. Even Carroll has nutmegged him.

Absolutely nothing funny regarding our plight whatsoever, just because we are a small town club that punches above it's weight it doesn't mean other fans should take the pizz. If this had happened at any big city club, then the media would have been all over this. Venky's out, as for Kean, the backstabbing, ass licking, imbecile. Well he's earning  1.5 million, for taking the pizz.

What ever, if it stays this way with a home win.

It makes Spurs's position a bit clearer and more of a winner takes all result with regard to Newcastle.

Liverpool get a penalty just before halt time, and hand the ball to Downing, who's still looking for his 1st Premier League goal. A chance to get the monkey off his back in a no-pressure game that's pretty much won anyway.

And he blasts it against the post.

Downing. What a player.

P.S. If the Chavs are going to have to have a bad game I'd rather it be in Munich than Klanfield.

Well if you believe everything you read then yes it's the fans fault. After all we picked the team and formation, we told everyone we would be a top four or five premiership team, and then we spent over £20 million on players that have either not played or have played an handful of times. And off course we sacked Big Sam, and replaced him with Coco, and just for good measure, we made life impossible for the premier leagues best chairman. Yes we should have took it on the chin, and gone out with a whimper.

Unfortunately, he won't be between the sticks in Munich.

Noticed all the Liverpool players staying on the pitch after the match with family members. I haven't spotted Carroll's caravan yet though.

Whether Chelsea were eying the Champions league final or not.

Losing badly beforehand doesn't strike me as a good way to proceed.

Good to see some real passion from a fan of a club. I don't know if you go to games or not (half a point off if you don't), but it's what being a supporter of your team means. There's a time and place for clinical analysis (usually from an armchair) but often it's just a gut instinct thing.

Blackburn is in no way a 'big' club, but it tries to compete in an area where there are many clubs, and it's so easy to lose fans to the so called glamour boys at Old Trafford, The Etihad and even Anfield.

If it's any consolation the Championship is more fun...honest
