27.4C now and sunny after it maxed at 33.3C with highest dp ever recorded on my data at 22.6C beating the 21.7C set in August 31st 2008.  Felt like we are in Chicago or Toronto normal hot and humid day.  It was an experience on high dp in this country and it stay over 20C dp all day which is rare and now dp is 19.3C.

So what was the highest official temperature in the end then? Sorry if I missed it earlier in the thread. I was walking in Yorkshire this weekend so cloudy Saturday and 23 C, Wet and miserable Sunday 20 C!

Did we get above 32 C?

23 C is probably the highest temperature I have experienced this year in the UK as I've been in Edinburgh during the English warm spells!!

32.4C on Saturday in Cavendish, Suffolk. Despite predictions that Sunday might have been hotter, lots of mid-level cloud, and some heavy showers which ran up a line from Bognor Regis to London and up the M11 meant that Sunday's peak was 30.9C.
