Today's official high (in reports so far) was 28C:

Could well beat that tomorrow, before a breeze pegs temperatures back on Saturday.

PWS recorded 25.8C mid afternoon. Taking into account margin of error etc, it's still not bad. Temperature still hovering around 20C.

Tomorrow looks like a hot day for the Warwick area.

Sat out earlier and I have noticed now that the sun certainly seems to be getting weaker now even at mid day, I certainly don't seem to get as burnt as I would in June for example, still it is comfortable

Amazing to think that it was on this day 9 years ago 100 F was reached in Kent.

Anyhow, getting back to the here-and-now, we have been avoiding the heat and high humidity due to winds coming in from the sea, it never got any higher than 21 C so far this week. Today turned out quite sunny, though, and it was good enough to sit in the cartoon quite comfortably.

Come again?

The humidity made last night a bit less easy than normal, but made a very pleasant morning possible.

Warm(ish) nights seem to be the theme this August...
