Pretty decent day. Some fleeting showers but sunny spells and fairly light winds. 18'C this afternoon
summers have become so bad . since when? if you want better summers you had better move to the south coast. its lovely here.
For me, it is weather like this that makes living in the UK so fascinating. Here near Reading we have had a dismal day. To hear of the weather variances across the region just shows how little it can take to alter perceptions .. Alton is not so far away! Now if the powers that be had not shifted the Bank Holiday would we really have worried too much about this weekend ? Or would we just have been glad for a dump of rain after 10 dry days .. and looked forward to the convective activity to come ?
Take your pick ..
Heavier rain now, cold, gusty NE wind, 7c.
Just like November out there!
Cloudy but dry, 7.3c
Looking at the radar the heaviest rain has been almost stalled over an area close to luton- Milton Keynes
Possibly some local flooding-
