looks like he was playing for a draw, by that move as though he thought that Villa might win?.
Villa were absolutely woeful. Utterly toothless in attack
Then I have no idea, beyond the fact that they obviously need a new tactician.

Newcastle 0 City 2 .....No doubt there'll be a few pre-prepared banners that will have already been taken into Old Trafford this afternoon - but they won't be seeing the light of day this year!!
How do Spurs do it, is it confidence, players out of position.
Why can they not close out matches, win games, they dominated, Villa were there for taking..
Why
At least you can say Spurs had 10 men for a long period , what excuse can Wenger give, apart from his keeper played like a 2 year old.
LOL, Villa were so useless any team could have got by with 8 or 9 men. Four shots for the whole game - 2 on target including the deflection off Gallas's soulder. The worst team (home and away) Spurs have faced this season. Villa deserve to go down, but unfortunately won't.
McCleish has the opposite of the midas touch - everything he touches turns to crap.

Hmmm not so sure, Arsenal have a tough away game and their current form doesn't suggest an away win. Spurs have to be favourites for the 3rd spot IMO, either way one set of fans be it Geordie or North London based will be hoping a team from Germany win the Champions League
Hopefully tonight the Latics will put us out of our misery. One thing worth mentioning, any neutrals watching the game maybe be better sending any minors off to bed early. The hostility towards Venky's and Kean will be quite venomous this evening, extra police have been drafted in, in what could be Blackburn Rovers last match in the Premier league, period!
Unfortunately, there's no cover for BAE (who is out for the season) unless you play Bale there. Caulker can't be recalled AFAIK.
Hopefully the shortfall can be made up next year, except there will be a shortfall somewhere else, no doubt.
What about Strikers, or Gareth Bale?
I reckon Caulker will break into the first team next season. I don't see him being a regular - more likely he'll provide cover for Kaboul or Vertonghen - if we buy Vertonghen of course.
'Arry certainly says he'll be coming back to fight for a first team place. I don't think he'll be loaned out again.

Not only the cost of buying, is it, also someone like Adebayor would break Spurs's wage barrier. Once one does more will clamour.
It's a double ended stick
Getting away from the woes with Spurs
Tonights game Blackburn against Wigan should be an interesting, if not tight game.
Although Wigan are a bit of a forward playing team.
I hate to think what the scenes will be like if Wigan win.
