Another very wet day in Warwick - 12mm of rain so far. Stopped raining at 14.45, so hopefully that's it for the time being.

I really need to the cut the grass

0.6mm here last night. It looks like the heavier stuff was about 100 miles further north than originally progged and gave Essex, Suffolk and parts of Norfolk a good soaking instead.

6.2mm here so far in May.

0.4mm. I know May is traditionally one of Western Scotland's driest months, but 0.4mm after 6 day is very low. Not that I'm complaining mind

I just hope the dry and calm weather holds for the re-roofing I have planned this summer (6 new roof windows, strip back to sarking boards, new waterproof membrane, new tiles etc). Materials order next week, and I hope to start work at the end of the month, with most of the outside work in June / July. Now....that is sure to bring on the persistant rains, especially when I take off the first existing tile

So far I've measured 25.8mm in Warwick for May.

Looks like I'll be adding more on Monday!
