Fair play to Newcastle who are begining to look like a half decent outfit this season with another attacking performance and 3 points at West Brom.
Pardew has done a good job this season, given the Mags have arguably (even if the stats don't say so) one of the worst back fours in the EPL. Williamson is a joke player.
Can have no complaints about the last two results. Man City were the better team and deserved the 3 points and to be honest, we deserved nothing out of yesterdays 0-0. Lacked imagination in the final 3rd. I doubt very much that a 4th placed finish will be achievable given the games left and the sides we have to play. Now, we wont be playing CL football next season so what will RA do? Surely he wont be able to attract the manager he might want without CL football, or indeed the players that the probable rebuilding would require. So, an interesting few months for all those that don't like the club coming up I fear. For those that do, its the old guard that has too much influence that has caused it, whether you want to believe it or not.
You have to take your hat off to the Mags...........even as a Sunderland fan. It pains me to say it but they really have played some great football and if Ben Arfa, Cisse and Ba can stay fit and healthy they have as good a front 3 as anyone after Man City. Awful
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17510682 Couldn't possibly happen surely.
The strangest thing with that Yorkie is that, in pure footballing terms, he is the best man for the job for me. The reason he got sacked was misguided and foolish comments and for having an 'odd' back room set up.
On the pitch he got the best out of our golden generation.
Perhaps, but that was all around 13 years ago now, he had his chance and fairly or unfairly that chance has passed.
I would rather Pearce continued to take temp charge in the Euro's rather than reverting back to him even for a short period.
Unfortunate news coming out from villa park. Stilyian Pertov has been diagnosed with acute leukaemia
That is shocking news- I hope he manages to pull through it.
It's very shocking news and unfortunately less treatable than chronic leukemia if my understanding is correct. However, I won't get too far ahead of myself as they haven't said what form of acute leukemia it is.

So how do we fancy the weekend matches.
City v SunderlandVilla v ChelseaQPR v ArsenalWolves v BoltonWigan v StokeFulham v NorwichEverton v West Brom
Spurs v Swansea on sundayNewcastle v Liverpool on sunday
Rovers v Utd on Monday
City should be a winner at home but.. no they should win.
Chelsea and Arsenal as well
Bolton to beat Wolves
Stoke and Norwich to win theirs
Spurs should win if the same team as against Bolton turn up to play, their team passing play was great.
Big game however for me is 'castle against 'pool I fancy Newcastle to turn the screw a bit more.

Well it seems as if an early goal does settle one's team down, at least for Fulham anyway.
Its Half time so scores are:
Fulham 2-0 against Norwich
QPR 1-1 v Arsenal
Everton 1-0 West Brom
Wigan and Wolves both 0-0 draws
Villa losing 0-1 v chelsea
City currently 1- 2 against Sunderland

Torres scores another goal shocker! Bit of an amazing afternoon in the premier league again!
My goodness there were some cracking games this afternoon.
QPR beating Arsenal
Wigan winning
City drawing
Bolton winning
Well that was a turn up for the books as they say, Arsenal losing
I am surprised it seemed as though everything they touched, turned to gold recently, Premier wise.
LOL Shiteh probably throwing the title away with a draw against Sunderland is the highlight for me. Mankini keeps spending the Arab willy wagglers' dosh and still comes up short. Trebles all round.

With only 7 games left it would seem as though Wolves are down after that defeat, its left them bottom on 22 points, can't see them winning say at least the 3 game needed to get above Bolton who are currently 16th and their goal difference is horrendous.

If I was Mansoor, I would sack him. Millions and Millions spent and only one poxy FA cup to show for it, but I suppose Chelsea took a few years to start winning after the Russian crook took over
Surely any glee is tempered by realising which bunch of sh*theads are the biggest beneficiaries of Citeh's implosion
No, I'm kinda happy, if UTD were in the same position as City, eg throwing vast sums around to buy the league instantly. I would be less happy. Or maybe if they led by someone else other than fergie. But overall if Utd win then good.
Better than Chelsea or Arsenal anyday.
