Well Spurs seem to really be struggling now.
I assume they will in fact spend the rest of the season looking up at Arsenal.
Looks like they need a decent striker like RVP, the difference between the 2 teams.
Not good enough. Absolutely battered Stoke. But the important stat is that it was a draw.
Don't worry, I've just turned down a ticket for Saturday's game at Chelsea because I can't afford the day trip at short notice so that will guarantee a Spurs win!!

I haven't seen much of Sterling, so I'll leave it to a fellow poster on the Spurs board who follows these things far more closely.
"Souness went into Bill Nicholson's office and demanded playing time, yeah that Bill Nicholson. We shipped him out to the NASL of all places and the rest is history. You never like an arrogant player but part of a managers job is to..... manage... Managing personalities is only part of the job. "I know this, I've seen England youth players quite a bit, he's probably the best one England have. In overall contribution to a side regardless of position probably better then Wilshere, Cleverley, Jones, Caulker etc. He's worth a punt. He's not going to cost much, I don't see the risk if he doesn't work out."

Man City attempting to indulge in mind games with SAF. There will only be one winner of that battle
Sooooo.......a point in the end. Bit of a disappointment really as I thought Spurs did enough in the second half to win.
I was surprised at how unimaginative Chelsea were - their idea of an attack being to lump it up over the midfield. Didn't Wimbledon used to do that?
One thing's for sure - I think today's game reflects why Chelsea are five points behind Spurs.
Arsenal 2-0 up at the Library. Looking at the stats it must like like a giant pinball machine there.
Sterling on the bench for the Bindippers. I assume 'Queen' Kenny has been spooked by Raheem's mum.
Unbelievable result for Wigan, Liverpool seem to be on the slide having just lost 2-1
Bolton win and QPR lose sounds like good results all round
Oh Liverpool.
Will be watching 'King' Kenny's post match press conference later If the owners have any sense they'll dump Kenny at the end of the season. The Carling Cup win that they scraped against a Championship side has masked a very poor season. Kenny gave them a lift on reputation alone when he came in. Now he's been found out big time

Wonder what he will say, "really we have improved everywhere and although the number of goals don't suggest it, we won it!"
Inconsistency seems to be Liverpool's biggest problem IMO, not just this season but also in many recent seasons. It's all very well getting big scalps like beating their local rivals 3-0 the other week, knocking Man Utd out of the FA Cup in January and of course managing to win the Carling Cup (only just though), but until they can start beathing consistently week in, week out in the league, whether it's teams near the top or those trying to avoid the drop, they'll continue to fall short when it comes to making a serious challenge for the league.

In 2012 in the Premier League, Liverpool have been consistently bad! Their record reads...
Played: 11
Won: 2
Drawn: 2
Lost: 7
Somebody just posted on BBC Football website that if the league had started on 1 January, Liverpool would be bottom of the table!!

Good result for Stoke
Everything to play for as far Utd are concerned.
Good performance from Spurs yesterday at Chelsea. Despite a quiet first half Spurs had five efforts on goal compared to Chelsea's zero and by the end of the match Chelsea can think themselves lucky to have shared the spoils. 40 attempts on goal for Spurs in the last two games but just the two points to show for it! However, I think this marks the turning point for the rest of the season and hopefully we can secure a much deserved Champions League spot!!
Just a final note on my mate Ady, overall a better performance than of late but his scuffed shot when clean through on goal was disappointing!!
Just a bit
They were tired!!!
