That sounds very similar to summer 1995, which would great if it happened.

My guess is for an annual CET of 10.5C, hopefully resulting from significant warmth from April through to October which more than counteracts a bitterly cold and snowy February, late November and December

Apologies for the delay in posting up a table in this thread. We have 48 entries so far and you can continue to enter until 23:59 today.

My prediction is 10.66C, i.e. similar to the 2011 actual figure. A much warmer summer this year offset by somewhat cooler conditions in Spring and Autumn.

I have only had to amend two predictions to avoid matching predictions. GrecianJim's prediction is increased by 0.01C to 10.31C and muppet77's prediction is reduced 0.01C to 10.39C.

Wouldn't it be incredible if Gavin D's prediction of 11.72 won? We'd need a 1976 or 1995 type summer to even get close.

Damn!

I've only just realised this thread had been started.

Is there any chance of an extension to the entry date for this competition bearing in mind it is for the whole year?

If so, I'd like to pitch in at 10.46C

Thanks

I`ll go for 10.53 for this year please

I also think this summer will be a good one but we wont get spring and autumn
