On Monday downpours are possible, with Wales and southern England most likely to be in the firing line. Nonetheless, even there many places could miss them.

Next week starts off rather mixed. Heavy and thundery showers affect England and Wales, bringing the possibility of disruption. However, they will be hot and miss, so rain amounts are likely to vary a lot over short distances.
Drier conditions are expected to return by Tuesday as high pressure becomes dominant again. It is expected to remain warm or very warm, with temperatures peaking in the mid 20sC.
