Showers fade away tonight, leaving dry conditions in all areas. Under clearing skies a touch of ground frost is possible in the north.

Tomorrow starts fine and in much of Britain that continues to be the case through the day. However, outbreaks of rain will push into Northern Ireland and they could reach Wales and some western parts of England by early evening. It will feel warm in sunny spells.

Drier conditions returning

During Friday and Saturday showery spells of rain slowly push eastwards. Drier conditions follow from the west, and in sunny spells it will feel quite warm.

Sunday and Monday are looking fine and warm across much of the UK. The exception is likely to be the northwest, where patchy spells of rain could develop at times.
