Most of the UK will be dry today so it should be all systems go for those outdoor Easter egg hunts. However, things look more mixed tomorrow, with showers or longer spells of rain possible in much of the UK.

Patchy outbreaks of rain in the northwest steadily fade away through the course of the day. In the rest of the UK it will be mostly dry with sunny spells, although there is a risk of scattered showers in the south.
Temperatures range from 12°C in the north to 18°C in southern and central counties. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight showery rain pushes across Northern Ireland and southwestern Britain. Elsewhere it remains dry.
Easter Bank Holiday Monday is looking mixed. Outbreaks of rain are expected in the northern half of the UK. In southern and central areas sunny spells are likely, but showers will develop. Not everywhere will catch one, but there is potential for some to be heavy and thundery.

On Tuesday many places are likely to remain dry, although scattered showers are possible. Later in the day outbreaks of rain push into Northern Ireland.
During Wednesday a small area of low pressure is forecast to push southeastwards across England and Wales, bringing longer outbreaks of rain for a time. These should clear in the afternoon. The northern half of the UK should have a dry and sunny day.
