Tonight there will still be a risk of rain in northwestern Britain. Elsewhere it's a mostly dry picture with variable amounts of cloud. It will be chilly in the north.
Most places will remain dry on Easter Sunday, although there may still be some patchy rain in the northwest. Temperatures will generally be a little higher than today’s, and in sunny spells it should feel pleasant.
Meteo France Arpege, Easter Sunday 20th April [Tap animation to toggle cities]
Showery rain is expected to develop on Bank Holiday Monday, with more persistent outbreaks possible in the northwest. In the south showers may be heavy and thundery, but there should be sunny intervals too, particularly in the southeast.
The following couple of days look mixed. On Tuesday many places are likely to remain dry, although scattered showers are possible. On Wednesday an area of low pressure could push eastwards across southern Britain, potentially bringing some heavy outbreaks of rain. Beyond that the signal is for high pressure to bring a period of settled conditions.
