Tonight, the drizzle in the south clears, leaving dry conditions across the UK. Clear periods may allow temperatures to fall enough for a touch of frost to develop in some places.

Tomorrow, most of the UK remains dry with sunny spells. However, outbreaks of rain are likely to push into the far northwest late in the day. Temperatures will be similar to today’s.

Temperatures dip

Rain affects northern areas at times over the next few days. The wet conditions could spread southwards occasionally, but it will often be dry in the south. Temperatures dip later, and by the weekend showers over high ground in Scotland could fall as sleet or snow. Patchy frost remains a risk.
