Most of the UK will have another dry day with sunny periods. Temperatures are expected to be higher than yesterday’s, and 20°C could be reached in the London area. Things start to change tomorrow as showery outbreaks of rain push into southwestern Britain and Northern Ireland. There is potential for heavy rain on Saturday. Dry and bright conditions develop across the UK today, but there is a chance of isolated showers in central and eastern parts of England. After a chilly start with frost in the north, temperatures rise quickly. This afternoon it will feel warm.

Tonight it remains dry across most of the UK, although by morning showery rain is likely to reach the southwest. In the north a ground frost is likely, but in southern and central regions it will be less cold than recently.
Tomorrow, heavy showery outbreaks of rain push northwards across southwestern Britain and Northern Ireland. In other areas it remains dry, and in sunny spells it will become quite warm again.

Saturday looks wet across much of the UK, with outbreaks of rain that could be slow moving and heavy. Drier conditions are likely to return to Northern Ireland and western Britain.
Showers continue on Sunday, but there should be more dry and bright periods. Early next week, the unsettled weather continues.
