The whole of the UK is expected to remain dry today, and in sunny spells this afternoon temperatures will be a little higher than recently. The warming trend continues tomorrow and Thursday, with 20°C possibly being reached in the London area. By Friday areas of low pressure start to bring more changeable weather, and there will be a risk of showers or longer spells of rain. Dry and bright conditions develop across the UK today. After a cold start with frost in places, temperatures steadily rise and in the afternoon sunshine it should feel quite pleasant.
Temperatures range from 7°C in the north to 12°C in the south. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight clear spells will lead to a widespread frost.It could turn out to be the coldest night until next autumn or winter, with temperatures in the Scottish glens dipping close to -10°C.
Tomorrow it remains dry and it will be warmer in the afternoon than recently. Temperatures could reach 17°C in the south.

During Thursday and Friday warmer conditions push northwards. Temperatures could reach 20°C in the London area, although by Friday showery spells of rain are likely to push northeastwards across much of the UK.
The more changeable weather continues into the weekend, leading to the possibility of showers or longer spells of rain almost anywhere. With more cloud around it won't be as warm as recently, although it should still feel pleasant in areas where sunny spells develop.
