The whole of the UK is expected to remain dry today, and in sunny spells this afternoon temperatures will be a little higher than recently. The warming trend continues tomorrow and Thursday, with 20°C possibly being reached in the London area. By Friday areas of low pressure start to bring more changeable weather, and there will be a risk of showers or longer spells of rain. (If you would like to browse the website without adverts and access premium features, see below)

Warmer but wetter weather

During Thursday and Friday warmer conditions push northwards. Temperatures could reach 20°C in the London area, although by Friday showery spells of rain are likely to push northeastwards across  much of the UK.

The more changeable weather continues into the weekend, leading to the possibility of showers or longer spells of rain almost anywhere. With more cloud around it won't be as warm as recently, although it should still feel pleasant in areas where sunny spells develop.
