The new week starts as the old one left off, with dry weather across the UK, but significant changes are expected in the coming days. By Wednesday it will turn much milder, but as the weekend approaches the risk of showers and longer spells of rain returns. After a chilly start temperatures remain on the low side today. Nonetheless, it remains dry across almost the entire UK, with just a few isolated showers possible. Cloud amounts vary.
Temperatures range from 7°C in the north to 10°C in the south. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight it remains dry. Clear spells will lead to frost developing in places, especially in central and northern areas. Quite breezy in the south.
Tomorrow a very similar picture is expected. During cloudy periods it feels chilly, particularly in the south where there will be a keen easterly wind.

During Wednesday and Thursday much of the UK remains dry, although rain may push into northern Scotland. However, the big difference compared to recent days is that temperatures will be significantly higher. In southern Britain values could reach 18°C.
Later in the week low pressure begins to push up from the southwest, leading to a growing risk of showers or longer spells of rain spreading northwards. Temperatures are likely to dip back towards the average.
