The weekend will bring largely dry weather with variable amounts of cloud. Early next week little changes, but by Wednesday there are signs of it turning warmer. Showery rain and hill snow affect northern Scotland today. Across the rest of the UK there will be sunny spells, and most places will remain dry, though isolated showers may develop.
Temperatures will be a little higher than in recent days, ranging from 7°C in the north to 10°C in the south. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight, showery rain continues in the far north. Generally there will be more cloud in the north of the UK, so the greatest risk of frost is in southern and central areas. Temperatures could dip to -5°C locally in the south.
Tomorrow, scattered showers return again but many places remain dry. Sunny intervals are likely, but there will be more cloud than today. Temperatures continue to edge upwards.

The early part of next week brings little change. Scattered showers are possible, but the emphasis remains on dry conditions with bright periods. On Monday and Tuesday temperatures stay similar to the weekend and frost continues to be a risk. By Wednesday it is expected to start turning warmer in southern and central regions.
