During the next few days milder air aloft filters northeastwards. Despite the milder air mass, it will remain rather cold in the short term, with an ongoing chance of patchy outbreaks of rain. The risk of snow increasingly becomes confined to high ground in Scotland. By the second half next of week some early spring-like warmth is possible.
