Rain pushing up from the southwest

Patchy outbreaks of rain affect Northern Ireland, south western England, and Wales where they could turn to snow over high ground. In the rest of the UK it remains dry.

Temperatures range from 4°C in the north to 10°C in the far south west. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Temperatures recovering next week

During the next few days milder air aloft filters northeastwards. Despite the milder air mass, it will remain rather cold in the short term, with an ongoing chance of patchy outbreaks of rain. The risk of snow increasingly becomes confined to high ground in Scotland. By the second half next of week some early spring-like warmth is possible.
